Young Justice season 4 release update: Is Phantoms premiering today at DC FanDome?

Young Justice season 4 could be upon us sooner than we think. 

Young Justice is one of the most popular animated shows of our time. In fact, it’s probably one of the most popular animated shows in TV history.

Originally running on Cartoon Network a decade ago, it aired two seasons that each received acclaim from fans and critics. Its unexpected and untimely cancellation sparked a passionate fan campaign to revive it – one that gained much greater ground when it experienced a resurgence in 2016 following the show’s arrival on Netflix.

Later that year, the revival announcement came and season 3, a.k.a. Young Justice: Outsiders, arrived on DC Universe. After another successful run, it was confirmed that it would return for a fourth season on HBO Max, titled Young Justice: Phantoms.

After a long wait, fans are expecting some major reveals from Young Justice season 4 at DC FanDome 2021 later today and, according to rumors, those reveals will be much bigger than anyone expected them to be.

Young Justice season 4 release date

It sounds like the first two episodes of Young Justice season 4 will be released on HBO Max later today . As noticed by a multitude of Twitter users, Young Justice: Phantoms is one of the featured shows on HBO Max’s “featured” section, with the caption reading “Watch the first two episodes”.

It is worth noting that the episodes can’t be watched yet and likely won’t be made available until after its panel/presence at DC FanDome today. With that in mind, it’s best to hold your excitement until whatever announcements are made today during the event.

Nonetheless, it is very exciting and releasing the first two episodes unannounced would be a huge way to reignite interest in the show after another two year hiatus. Though, let’s be honest, interest in Young Justice is as alive as it ever was.
