Supergirl season 6 is the long-running CW show’s final season and fans want to know who Kara Danvers will end up with in the series finale.

Kara Zor-El of Krypton has given National City, Earth, CBS, The CW and indeed the whole multiverse everything she has had over the past six years. But the Girl of Steel will officially hang up her cape in a matter of weeks when the Supergirl series finale airs on TV screens.

The show will end with the finale of its sixth season as Supergirl prepares to bid the Arrowverse farewell. We don’t yet know how it will happen, but the days are nigh for Kara’s fantastic run as a hero.

After giving so much of herself to everyone around her, fans are eager to know if Supergirl will allow Kara to have a happy ending with someone that she loves. While the heroine has been in love on the show quite a few times, she hasn’t been in a relationship for over three seasons now.

If anyone deserves to be happy, it’s the Girl of Steel. On that note, can we expect Supergirl to wrap up by giving her one of the things she has craved multiple times during the last six years: Love?

Will Kara and Lena (Supercorp) be endgame in Supergirl season 6?

Kara Danvers and Lena Luthor have been best friends since the latter made her debut on the show. Though initially a little frosty because of past betrayals, Lena’s heart was quickly warmed by Kara’s endearing and accepting approach, starting one of Supergirl‘s most important friendships. And even when their bond was broken with Lena’s (and season 5’s) questionable storyline, Kara eventually forgave her, setting the stage for an incredible redemption arc in season 6.

For years, “Supercorp” fans have been calling for the pair to get together, noting the chemistry that Melissa Benoist and Katie McGrath share. However, the show has remained steadfast in maintaining that friendship, never venturing into a romantic territory.

While time is limited, you can bet that “Supercorp” fans would love to see Kara and Lena confess their love for each other in the series finale. They are closer than ever in season 6, sharing a lot of couple-like scenes. But alas, it seems their friendship remains the focus of their relationship – and, given Supergirl‘s history, it could very well stay that way in the series finale.

Do Kara and Mon-El (Karamel) get back together in Supergirl season 6?

Kara and Mon-El dated throughout much of season 2, with the Girl of Steel acknowledging the fact that she had never been happier. She had it all: Superheroism, her burgeoning career as a reporter and her boyfriend. It all fell apart, however, when she discovered that he’d lied to her about who he was.

While Mon-El eventually redeemed himself, a long-term separation and unplanned trip to the future changed things a great deal. Though he and Kara admitted that they still cared about each other and wanted to be together, they decided against rekindling their romance as Mon-El returned to the future with the Legion of Superheroes – a choice that the once-selfish Prince of Daxam never would have made if he hadn’t evolved into the better man and hero that he was by the end of season 3.

What’s interesting is that Mon-El and Winn (both of whom departed in the season 3 finale) will both return in the series finale to help Kara and the Super Friends take down Nyxly and Lex Luthor. That doesn’t necessarily mean that “Karamel” will get back together, but with rumors of Kara heading to the future in the final episode (to explain her absence in future Arrowverse crossovers), there is a chance that the show will set up their eventual romantic reunion as an off-screen possibility in the future.

Then again, Kara might continue to save National City as the empowering hero that she always was. We just won’t know until we see the final episode.

Supergirl season 6 concludes on Tuesday, November 9, with a special two-hour series finale.
