Supergirl season 6’s finale airs next week, bringing the Girl of Steel’s story to a close. Before it does, check out the brand new trailer for the two-hour series finale.

Supergirl has had one heck of a run. The third Arrowverse series, it originally aired on CBS for one super-sized season before it was moved to The CW, making crossovers easier (and more regular). But now, it’s time for the Girl of Steel to bow out.

The long-running series concludes next week with a special two-hour finale. This comes after the decision to end the show was made last year, with Melissa Benoist, the network and the producers coming to the decision together.

The show’s sixth season has seen Kara Danvers and the Super Friends pull out all the stops to take down Nyxly and Lex Luthor in a quest for the magical totems. How will it conclude? We’ll find out next week. And if you can’t wait that long, you’re in luck as The CW has released a brand new trailer for the show’s final episodes. Watch it below:

The special two-hour finale, consisting of episodes “The Last Gauntlet” and “Kara”, will see the Girl of Steel face off against Nyxly and Lex one more time in the hopes of defeating the diabolical duo. As suggested by the second episode’s title, it will also see Kara Zor-El’s story conclude.

With the stakes higher than ever, Kara will be joined by the biggest iteration of the Super Friends ever as heroes from the past and present (and future) return to aid her in the battle.

In what is sure to be an emotional two hours of television, an era will come to an end as the Girl of Steel bows out of National City.

Supergirl season 6 returns to The CW to air its season finale, the show’s series finale, at the earlier time of 8:00 p.m. ET.
