Eternals’ post-credit scenes left us all talking, but where will our favorite new Eternal return in the MCU’s future? *** Contains major spoilers ***

The end of Eternals left me in shock. With our fellow Eternals Sersi, Phastos, and Kingo currently MIA, and their friends Thena, Makkari, and Druig keft behind, it’s safe to say the audience (and the Eternals) are at a loss on where to go next.

The movie’s most talked-about moment is undoubtedly the post-credits scene. Well, the mid-credits scene, to be exact. The remaining three Eternals are discovering that Arishem has taken their friends. Shocked and bewildered, they are left wondering where to begin looking for their fellow Eternals, and what it means now that Arishem knows the Eternals strayed from the path they were destined to stay on.

This brings us to the appearance of a furry jester-like character, Pip the Troll (Patton Oswalt) who introduces the Royal Prince of Titan, Starfox, played by Harry Styles — confirming months of rumors and speculation about his role. Styles officially is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Starfox/Eros, the brother of Thanos, and named after the Greek god of love; a heavy contrast to his power hungry brother Thanos.

When will Harry Styles’ Eros return to the MCU after Eternals?

With Phase 4 just beginning, it’s not quite clear where they can place Eros. However, in the comics, it is known that he pops up everywhereFor upcoming movies, it could be easy for Styles to reprise his role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 alongside newcomer Adam Warlock, portrayed by Will Poulter. Another possibility is him potentially showing up in the upcoming Disney+ series, She-Hulk. And, like almost every hero in the Marvel comics, Eros also had a bit of a stint with the Avengers — so there might be a possible mention or even cameo in the future Avengers movie.

The most likely option, though, is that he returns as one of the stars of a future Eternals movie. There is plenty of scope for a sequel and it’s clear that Marvel Studios has laid the groundwork for one.

Needless to say, it would be a shock if he doesn’t reappear in the movies, because his character is one that carries into many storylines, and it’s safe to say Styles will be more than just a cameo like Sylvester Stalone in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. These theories aren’t far fetched to say the least, it has been heavily rumored that Styles has signed a five movie contract with Marvel Studios.

With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and The Marvels right around the corner, the MCU is expanding as we know it—and we might find ourselves lost in space sooner than we realize.
