4. Who was talking to Dane Whitman?

Before Dane Whitman could grab the sword during the second post-credits scene of Eternals, we hear a voice asking him if this is what he wants to do. Whitman turned around surprised. Before that person’s identity could be revealed, the movie ends, leaving us with a huge question: Who is this mysterious person?

The easy guess would be Nick Fury. He’s the great and powerful Oz. The man behind the curtain that pulls the strings and accounts and plans for everything. Although, since the Ebony Blade is magic, it may not be him. It could be Doctor Strange, Baron Mordo, or another character that hasn’t been introduced. Maybe it’s Merlyn. He does exist in the Marvel Universe.

The most exciting possibility? Well that’s the one that has the internet talking, as rumors suggested that it was none other than Mahershala Ali’s Blade – who will come to the MCU in his own movie in the future.

3. Does Eros want to help the Eternals?

Eros conveniently showing up at the end of the movie when the Eternals needed help almost seems too good to be true. He just happens to appear up when he’s needed? Where was he when the Eternals were actually in danger? Probably partying and waiting for an opportunity to pop up.

The missing Eternals was the perfect moment for him to make his introduction. The remaining heroes were worried and he has all the answers. While he says he can help, what will he want in return? Or, and here’s the more dangerous part, what does he desire that he’s not saying? Eros doesn’t strike this writer as someone who does anything just to be helpful.
