Recap of Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 1

The night of a ceremony honoring Teela (Sarah Michelle Gellar) taking up the mantle of Man-At-Arms saw Skeletor (Mark Hamill) and Evil-Lyn (Lena Headey) lead an all-out invasion against Castle Grayskull, attracting the attention of He-Man (Chris Wood) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Liam Cunningham) as well as the forces of Eternia.

During a final standoff at the invasion of Castle Grayskull, against the forces of Snake Mountain, Teela battled Evil-Lyn while He-Man confronted Skeletor at the heart of the castle. Skeletor reduced He-Man’s ally, Moss-Man (Alan Oppenheimer) to ashes, angering the mighty strongman. He unveiled the castle’s secrets once he impaled Skeletor onto a locking mechanism, unravelling the Hall of Wisdom.

In a desperate attempt to prevent the destruction of reality from an out of control orb containing all of Eternia’s magic, He-Man sacrificed himself by splitting the Sword of Power in two and using it to contain the erupting explosion.

Despite his best efforts, it resulted in the Sword of Power wielder getting encased within the impact with Skeletor, but not before He-Man revealed his alter-ego, Prince Adam, to Teela.

Ending up at the Hall of Heroes in Preternia following his final battle with Skeletor, Prince Adam, Teela and her comrades retrieve the second half of the Sword of Power, restore its energies at the cost of Roboto (Justin Long) dying and returning to the Hall of Wisdom. Once the magic is restored to Eternia, Prince Adam is stabbed from behind by a revived Skeletor (via Evil-Lyn’s staff), who then summoned the Power of Grayskull for himself.
