John Krasinski set to star as Superman in upcoming film

John Krasinski is set to portray the Man of Steel himself as he is playing Superman in upcoming animated movie DC League of Super-Pets.
John Krasinski has always wanted to do a buddy cop film with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and the big time actor has finally got his wish.
The star of A Quiet Place recently shared an image via social media to display his excitement of being a part of the upcoming star-studded animated feature DC League of Super-Pets in which he will voice none other than the Man of Steel himself, Superman.
Check out his exciting social media post below:
The image showcases Krasinski’s Superman flying alongside Johnson’s Krypto. It is not yet clear how large the role will be since the film focuses on the famous animal companions to DC’s famous superheroes rather than the heroes themselves. However, no matter what role Superman plays in the film, Krasinski is sure to fit the character incredibly well.
This isn’t the first time that the actor has been closely associated with the superhero genre as fans have been calling for him to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a long time now, with him topping plenty of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic fan-castings. Could we still see that in the future?
DC League of Super-Pets stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as Krypto the Super Dog and Kevin Hart as Ace the Bat-Hound. The cast also includes Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves, Vanessa Bayer and Marc Maron as Lex Luthor.
DC League of Super-Pets hits movie theaters on May 20, 2022.
