Here are the five questions we need answered after episode 3 of Hawkeye.

As this writer assumed, this episode of Hawkeye started with a look at the backstory of Maya Lopez (Echo). It was done well too. Not only does it hit viewers in the heart, it pays homage to the David Mack story of Maya and her father (Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln). Seeing Maya ask what sounds things make and her father explaining them was both sweet and highly important, especially as they communicated with ASL.

As always, this episode of the Disney Plus series leaves us with a lot of questions that need answered. For example, what other arrows does Clint have? Will we see the boomerang arrow from the Matt Fraction Hawkeye comic book? Here are five other queries this writer wants to know.

5. Will Maya find out about her father?

We heard a familiar voice in the third episode of Hawkeye. Maya’s “uncle” sounded a lot like Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, suggesting that he will appear in the series. If this is the case, then Echo’s dad worked for him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Towards the end of the episode, Kazi mentions how Echo’s father always put his crew first. Does this mean she knew about her father’s past? Was she okay with it? Is she part of Wilson Fisk’s crew? If this is true, will Maya have a change of heart before the season finale or does Echo become her redemption story?
