Here are the five burning that need to be answered in episode 5 of Hawkeye on Disney Plus.

Hawkeye’s most recent episode immediately begins where episode 3 of the Disney Plus show left off – with Jack Duquesne holding Ronin’s sword at Clint Barton’s throat. But what starts as intense quickly turns into an emotionally driven episode.

Kate starts to come around to the idea of having Jack around after seeing him with her mother Eleanor Bishop. She and Clint then have a Christmas movie marathon, and Clint tells Kate about his life as Ronin. Later, the episode ends with a surprise appearance from a fan favorite character. This leads to Clint telling Kate that they aren’t partners.

This was the best episode of Hawkeye so far. While there were plenty of funny moments and action, it didn’t rely on it. After everything that happened between the emotional moments and the well placed levity (including the mention of a boomerang-arrow), there were questions that needed answering. Let’s begin.

5. Who was Eleanor Bishop talking to?

After giving Clint a speech about not getting Kate involved in what he’s doing, Eleanor made a mysterious phone call. She left a message telling the person to call her back and that it’s urgent.

We can guess the phone call had to do with Clint. What we don’t know is what she was calling for. Was she looking for information or something worse? That leads to the next question.
