Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally almost upon us, but will Andrew Garfield return as his version of Peter Parker in the MCU?
Spider-Man: No Way Home is easily the most eagerly-anticipated movie of the year. Usually when a statement like that is made, we would use the word “arguably”, but there is no arguing with this one.
Absolutely nothing compares to the level of hype that the Marvel Studios and Sony movie has amassed in the two years since the previous Spidey movie, and that level of anticipation continues to grow as the release date draws closer.
The upcoming film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it is the third time we will catch up with Tom Holland’s webslinger in a solo offering (his sixth appearance in the MCU). This time, though, Peter will attempt to make everyone around him forget that he is Spider-Man. The problem is that the spell he recruits Doctor Strange to cast goes horribly wrong and opens up their world to some major threats from others.
With a multitude of guest stars from non-MCU Spider-Man movies set to make their debut appearance in the MCU, everyone wants to know if one of our former Spideys will be making a return.
Is Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home?
It’s currently unknown if Andrew Garfield will appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The veteran actor has been heavily rumored to be reprising his role from Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man film series but it has yet to be confirmed if he will actually show up in the film or not.
Fans were hoping that the release of the movie’s second trailer would confirm the returns but since neither star appeared, the rumors will likely continue, remaining unconfirmed until the film’s actual release in the month of December.
