The Flash season 8, episode 5 live stream: Watch Armageddon online
The Flash season 8 returns to The CW with the fifth episode of the eighth season. Here’s how you can watch “Armageddon, Part 5” online.
This Tuesday, a new episode of The Flash season 8 airs on The CW. The edge-of-seat five-episode-event concludes as the fifth part of the Armageddon crossover-like saga airs this week.
Barry Allen’s darkest days are seemingly upon him. Following the arrival of Despero, he discovered that he was supposed to be the one who destroys Central City in the future, putting his loved ones and the world in jeopardy. And it seems that this is enough to result in Despero’s attempt to slay him and prevent that future from taking form.
Barry’s constant profession of his innocence, and his decision to trust the alien visitor with his secret, are perfectly in line with his good-hearted nature, but the events that unfolded in recent episodes did suggest that the Scarlet Speedster’s future isn’t as bright as it once was. However, that all changed when he traveled to that dark future to see for himself.
Realizing that the Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne, was responsible for the darker changes to his life, Barry found a way to convince Iris that he was the one she loved in the original timeline (and not Eobard like the villain attempted to make her believe) and, in doing so, changed the timeline back to the way it should be, proving to Despero that he is no villain. But with just one episode left of the event, Barry will now have to contend with the arrival of Mia Queen, as the Green Arrow of the future returns with a vengeance.
