Marvel’s Hawkeye has fans asking a lot of questions.

Hawkeye has only been airing for three weeks and it has quickly become a fan-favorite series. But for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that was an inevitability.

The focus on Jeremy Renner’s long-overlooked Avenger Clint Barton is a welcome (and long overdue) change for a Marvel Studios project, but the Disney Plus series has also been doing its best to set up an exciting new chapter of the MCU, primarily through the introduction of characters like Kate Bishop and Maya Lopez.

But if reports are to be believed, we could be about to see a character from Marvel’s small screen past introduced – one that could help set the stage for a new kind of future for the MCU.

Does Hawkeye episode 4 have a post-credits scene?

According to rumors that have been circulating the internet, the fifth installment of Hawkeye could be the first of the show’s episodes to feature a post-credits scene. While not yet officially confirmed, this wouldn’t be totally out of the ordinary now that the show has officially moved into its second half, with previous MCU shows such as WandaVision and Loki doing the same thing with the finale in sight.

Those same rumors suggest that the post-credits scene will feature none other than Vincent D’Onofrio, reprising his role as Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. the Kingpin, from Netlix’s Daredevil.

Is the Kingpin in Hawkeye?

While Vincent D’Onofrio has yet to be confirmed for a Hawkeye appearance, his name has been unofficially attached to the project for months now, with fans looking for signs that the Kingpin could be returning to screens. D’Onofrio himself has been teasing fans by tweeting about the show as well.

The biggest indicator, however, came in the third episode, when a young Maya Lopez was greeted by her “Uncle” in a flashback scene. Though his face was off-screen, the figure was a tall and intimidating individual with a chuckle that sounded quite like Wilson Fisk’s.

With rather intimidating references to the “Uncle” character in the present day scenes, fans are convinced that the Kingpin will finally be making his MCU debut in Hawkeye episode 4.
