Hawkeye: 5 burning questions fans need answered for the season finale

Here are the five burning that need to be answered after episode 5 of Hawkeye on Disney Plus.

After Kevin Feige announced Charlie Cox’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans were convinced that rumors of Wilson Fisk being in Disney Plus‘ Hawkeye were true. This writer also said that Jack Duquesne wasn’t the main villain in this series like early episodes would have us believe. At the end of episode 5 of Hawkeye,  all of this was confirmed when Yelena Belova sent Kate Bishop a picture of her mother Eleanor with Wilson Fisk. Not only was she working with him, she hired Yelena to kill Clint.

After seeing that picture, it raised all sorts of questions about Eleanor, Wilson Fisk, and the future of Hawkeye. There are other questions that need to be answered as well. For example, did Kazi know about Fisk tipping off Ronin (most likely)? Here are the five other things we must know going into the season finale.

5. How long has Eleanor worked with Fisk?

Eleanor Bishop working with Wilson Fisk shouldn’t surprise people. She’s been trying her hardest to keep Katie away from Clint for a reason. It wasn’t motherly love. She was hiding her illegal activities from Kate. Now we have to wonder how long Fisk and Eleanor were working together.

In episode 1, Eleanor’s husband died after their argument about money and selling the penthouse. However, as we saw, it wasn’t sold. Did she make a deal with Fisk soon after? Did they already have a relationship? Did she kill him and make it look like the aliens did it? We’ll find out how long they’ve been in cahoots and more in the season finale.
