Hawkeye finale spoilers: Is Daredevil in Hawkeye episode 6?
Fans are excited about the return of Charlie Cox in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Daredevil, but is he in Hawkeye’s season finale?
It’s almost time to bid farewell to another of Marvel’s critically-acclaimed Disney Plus shows. The finale of Hawkeye marks the end of its first season run and the wait begins to see if it will return for another outing. But its fate isn’t the only mystery from the show that has intrigued us.
For many weeks, theories and speculation has run wild in relation to both Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home, with fans hoping that both projects would bring back characters from Netflix’s universally-adored series Daredevil.

The running theory was that Vincent D’Onofrio would reprise his role as Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. the Kingpin, in the former, while Charlie Cox would reprise his role as Matt Murdock in the latter. Last week’s penultimate episode of Hawkeye confirmed that the Kingpin is indeed “the big guy” that everyone has been referring to. But will Daredevil be joining him?
Is Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in Hawkeye episode 6?
Whenever the Kingpin rears his head, Daredevil usually isn’t far behind. The two archenemies battled a great deal in the revered Netflix drama and the sheer thought of seeing Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio share the screen again is almost too good to imagine.
It’s not yet clear if he will appear in Hawkeye‘s finale, but Cox is heavily rumored to be reprising his role as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen in the show’s upcoming spin-off Echo, with that possibly serving as a launching pad for a revived Daredevil project.
As to whether these are actually the same versions of the characters we met on the Netflix show, Hawkeye directors Bert and Bertie told Insider readers to “Tune in on Wednesday for episode six”.
