After making his MCU debut as Harold “Happy” Hogan in Iron Man way back in 2008, Jon Favreau has reprised his role for six additional movies, including the upcoming Spider-Man sequel. Apart from the main crew of Avengers, Happy has been a consistent part of the team and a fan-favorite for a touch of comic relief in between the action-packed adventure.

Outside of his contributions to the world of Tony Stark, Favreau has also had a hand in two Christmas movies, one of which is a top-to-bottom classic. Of course, Favreau directed the Will Ferrell masterpiece Elf and co-starred with longtime collaborator Vince Vaughn in Four Christmases.

Vaughn stars in Four Christmases with Reese Witherspoon as unmarried couple Brad and Kate, who decide to take a vacation to Fiji for Christmas rather than spending the holiday traveling to all four of their parents’ houses. However, when their travel plans go south and their families catch them being interviewed on the news, Brad and Kate are forced to spend Christmas bouncing from divorced parents’ houses to the next.

Their experience with their wild families, including Brad’s aggressive brothers (Jon Favreau, Tim McGraw), pushes the couple to take a closer look at their own choices for the future. No matter which of Favreau’s holiday movies you watch, you’ll be laughing.
