2. Doctor Strange

The Sanctum Sanctorum is guarded by more than a few powerful spells. Because of that, Superman’s almost unmatched strength couldn’t have any impact on Doctor Strange’s home. It’s doubtful that he’d be able to even walk in without losing his bearings. While Kal-El is attempting to destroy or fight in the Sanctum Sanctorum, Stephen Strange would be planning.

Knowing Strange, he’d see that Superman was once kind hearted. The Sorcerer Supreme would attempt to find a way to revert Kal-El back to his original self. If he’s completely gone, there are multiple magical dimensions he could be sent to. Ones that would leave Superman powerless.

1. Doctor Doom

Superman has no chance here. Has Doctor Doom lost in the past? Absolutely. The reason the Man of Steel would lose, however, comes down to the fact that Victor von Doom would exploit all of Superman’s weaknesses in ways he’s never seen before. Doom’s armor is more advanced than Lex Luthor’s and it’s enchanted with dark magic. More importantly, Doom is willing to go to places and do things that even the darkest of people won’t (not even Darkseid) and Supes wouldn’t be prepared for that.

Then there’s the preparation. The second that Superman killed The Joker, he’d begin preparing for the inevitable. Doom would know that the hero he knew no longer exists. As soon as Superman entered Latveria airspace, he’d warn him to leave. After ignoring that, Doom would depower and imprison Kal-El. Then, it’s just a matter of waiting for the Regime to try and save him.
