These WWE superstars would be perfect for a Marvel or DC Comics movie or TV show.

The performers of the WWE have always been among the best in-ring entertainers in the industry. It’s shown by far more than just their in-ring action. Multiple wrestlers have ended up on talk shows, guest starring in sitcoms, and starring roles in movies. What began with Hulk Hogan turned into Dwayne Johnson and now John Cena becoming mega movie stars. Considering all the talent comes through the WWE, that trend won’t stop any time soon.

There are some wrestlers that are only good in the setting they’re in. However, there’s more than a few that have the ability to take things to another level and land major roles in a movie or TV project And there are some just perfect for a comic book project.

John Cena will be starring in his own upcoming DC Comics HBO Max show Peacemaker (playing the title character and reprising the role from The Suicide Squad) and Dwayne Johnson will be portraying Black Adam. But they won’t be the last.

On that note, these eight current and former WWE Superstars have the best chance at playing roles in a Marvel or DC Comics project.

The Miz

The Miz said that he wanted to be a WWE star when he was on The Real World. He did more than that. The Miz  has carved out an amazing career for himself and is definitely a future first ballot WWE Hall of Fame inductee. The Miz is, as he says, awesome. And not just in the ring. He improves as a wrestler and sports entertainer every year. He’s also been in a series of Marine movies, guest starred on Psyche, and just finished a run on Dancing with the Stars.

There’s a random Spider-Man villain named Hydro-Man that Miz would fit. He would add a bit of arrogance to him to make him fit in the MCU and wouldn’t have to be the more idiotic version we’ve seen in the comics. If not, maybe we could see him play a villain like Clayface in Batwoman.

Either way, The Miz in a comic book project would be awesome!
