Superman and Lois season 2 opened on a compelling note and we have questions… a LOT of questions.

In what was undoubtedly one of 2022’s most anticipated TV premieres, Superman and Lois returned with its second season premiere this week.

The Arrowverse show had been off the air for five months after its critically-acclaimed first season came to a shocking conclusion, with Natalie Irons crash-landing on Earth-Prime to confront her father and the Kent-Lane family. It was a great cliffhanger because it was an infuriatingly compelling ending that made us all want to know what happened next.

The season 2 premiere didn’t hold back when it came to revealing the answers to those questions and it certainly didn’t hold back on the drama or the emotion either. “What Lies Beneath” was a gripping opener to the second season and it has seriously raised the stakes for the characters – stakes that were already pretty high to begin with.

5. What is going on with Sarah in Superman and Lois season 2?

Sarah Cushing returned from camp happier than ever to see her parents Lana and Kyle. One person she wasn’t happy to she? Her loving boyfriend Jordan who went out of his way to show her how much he had missed her.

It didn’t take long for viewers to see that Sarah, who clearly adored Jordan in the first season, was acting differently around him in the season premiere. Why that is we don’t quite know yet, but it might have something to do with the fact that distance did not make the heart grow fonder.

Sarah’s father reckons that it’s time to be honest with Jordan about how she feels and he’s not wrong. The question is: Will this be the end of one of the show’s most endearing relationships, or is there more to this storyline than we know yet?
