Here’s how you can watch season 1 episode 2 of the CW’s Naomi live and online.

The series premiere of Naomi featured a lot of callbacks to the comic book. The titular character’s family dynamic and obsession with Superman was very much like the DC Comics story. The show even added the part where she missed Superman’s appearance in her town and her interviewing witnesses afterwards.

There was also a lot of heart as well. The love for her adopted family and friends was on display throughout. While the TV show‘s premiere had its flaws, there is potential for the show going forward.

The story about how Naomi notices her powers and the weird things that happen in her life was handled well. Having her abilities come into play earlier than the source material made sense and it helped add excitement to the show and intrigue to the main protagonist.

The introduction of Zumbado has to be mentioned. He didn’t have to be brought in late in the game. The fact that he was creepy and unnerving this early on was a perfect portrayal of him. He’s going to be a great antagonist for Naomi. Cranston Johnson could be yet another CW villain that gets mentioned in the same breath as the hero.

What to expect in episode 2 of Naomi

After a slow start to the series premiere, the show picks up speed in the middle. Episode 1 ending with the reveal of Dee having wings was a nice way to get viewers excited for episode 2. Not only did Naomi’s abilities continue to manifest, but she’s asking who she is. Hopefully Dee (played by Alexander Wraith) won’t be so monotone the next time we see him. Although, maybe emotions trigger his powers in a bad way.

Episode 2 will likely answer more questions about our hero’s past and how it connects to Dee and Zumbado. We definitely won’t get all the answers we want, but that’s the beauty of shows like this. A slow burn helps build anticipation for the rest of the season. Expect to learn more about who Dee is and for Naomi’s parents to ask her to not speak to Dee ever again.
