14. Harley Quinn

The Harley Quinn animated series is one of the best comic book cartoons to come out in a long time. When it ends, it could find itself listed among the greatest ever. The creative team has done a fantastic job with both the animation and the personality of the characters. They’ve made fun of all the things that make DC Comics fans laugh. Beyond the laughter, though, Harley Quinn is an incredibly deep show as well.

Look for the comic Harley Quinn: The Animated Series – The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour to lead us perfectly into season 3 (which is scheduled to debut this year). Also, if you’re not reading it, you’re missing out. It’s been everything you want from the show. Tee Franklin has written this perfectly.

13. Batman

Bruce Wayne left Gotham to figure out what’s going on with Batman Inc. and why the Batmen working for the organization killed Abyss. We later found out that Lex Luthor is funding Batman Inc. and Abyss isn’t actually dead. But Batman is still broke, now blind (see Batman No. 119 for more on that), and embarrassed that Luthor offered to fund him and it’s a long string of defeats that will be coming to an end in 2022.

The Dark Knight has been on a losing streak for a couple of years. At some point, that has to change. This writer believes it will happen in 2022. He may not be a billionaire anymore, but he’ll be living more comfortably than he has been. If not, he’ll at least have a major victory before or when he goes back to Gotham.
