These 25 comic book characters will blow your mind or surprise you in 2022 via their upcoming movie and TV appearances.  

The beginning of the year is an exciting time for fans of comic book projects. We can look towards the next batch of movies, TV shows, previews, and more.

This year, there are a ton of things to look forward to. For movies, there’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Black Adam, and The Batman among others. Meanwhile, Sandman, She-Hulk, and Peacemaker are among the TV shows that will make their debut in 2022, while others likes The Boys and DC’s Stargirl will return for new seasons. Furthermore, we will likely see teasers for multiple programs and films like Invincible and Secret Invasion. That’s more than enough to get people ready for the new year. Of course, there’s more.

Besides the TV shows, films, and trailers, we know about there will be surprises. Sometimes it will be during a mid or end-credit scene of a film, teasing us with what’s to come. Other times it will be something unexpected happening randomly during a show. Both instances make viewers pop up with excitement. We should fully expect to see more of that this year.

This list will bring up the 25 characters that we should see or hear from this year. A lot of them you’ll see here have upcoming features. Others are assumptions that they’ll appear in a preview or surprise us in something else. Let’s begin.
