20. Karla Sofen

Comic book project: She-Hulk or Moon Knight (Disney Plus)

Karla Sofen hasn’t been announced to be in any Marvel Cinematic Universe project. However, we do know that Zawe Ashton was cast to be a villain in The Marvels. This writer believes that she will make her appearance in one of the MCU movies or shows as psychiatrist Karla Sofen this year.

Because Karla Sofen is such a great character (even before she became Moonstone), it wouldn’t make sense to debut her without an explanation. She should have momentum going into The Marvels.

There’s already established characters like Captain Marvel, Kamala Khan, Monica Rambeau, and Nick Fury set to appear in the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel. These are the only characters we know of. Sofen having a quick or recurring appearance in She-Hulk or Moon Knight  would be the perfect stage-setter for her arrival. This would mean less time would be spent getting into who she is in The Marvels and focus on the story.

19. Kang

Comic book project: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (theaters)

Jonathan Majors isn’t scheduled to be in any Marvel Cinematic Universe projects until Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. As we’ve seen in the past, not being credited for a movie or project before its release doesn’t mean he won’t be in any. His involvement could be hidden from the public to surprise the audience.

With the sequel to Doctor Strange being about the multiverse, it would only make sense for us to see Kang the Conqueror. As Loki implied, he’s the one running the Time Variance Authority (TVA). He’ll definitely be upset that Doctor Strange put the multiverse in danger. Or he could just pop up to show Strange who’s in charge.
