DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 7 will be taking a break from screens but when can fans expect it to return?

It’s been a big season for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The beloved Arrowverse offshoot launched its seventh season just weeks after its sixth season concluded and quickly found itself celebrating its 100th episode.

The seventh season has been one of the show’s most  unique yet. Yes, comments like that seem lost on Legends of Tomorrow when that show seems to reinvent itself more than Madonna, but it has definitely succeeded in doing so this season.

With the Legends initially starting off stranded in 1925, they recruited the eccentric Dr. Gwynn Davies (Matt Ryan) in the hopes of time traveling back to the future. However, as we’ve come to expect on Legends, things didn’t necessarily go according to plan and they found themselves stuck at a fixed point before battling android versions of themselves.

The show will now be taking a hiatus from screens for a little while – the second after the midseason break over the holidays. However, when can fans expect Legends of Tomorrow season 7 to return?

When does Legends of Tomorrow season 7 return to The CW?

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 7 will return to The CW on Wednesday, February 23 2022, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

While not much is known about the returning episode just yet, the reason it is taking a short break is down to the fact that The CW is, like many TV networks, is giving its scripted dramas a two-week break so that they won’t clash with the Olympics.

With that in mind, you can bet Legends fans will be excited for the return of the world’s most underrated and off-the-wall superhero show!
