The Walking Dead best duos: Jerry and Ezekiel

Ezekiel’s partnership with Jerry (Cooper Andrews) has changed significantly since they entered the show in season 7 episode, “The Well.”

At first, Jerry was pretty much King Ezekiel’s servant/bodyguard. But the struggles of the apocalypse have a strange way of bringing people closer together, and they quickly established a wonderful, lifelong friendship.

This duo is almost always seen together. However, in season 10, Ezekiel decided to travel with Eugene and Yumiko to meet the Commonwealth. Their goodbye shows just how much of a bond they truly have while also demonstrating how far they’ve come. Jerry had always called Ezekiel “boss” or “King,” but in their farewell, he simply uses “Ezekiel.” And that hug is tear-inducing!

It remains unlikely whether the two will reunite. Of course, Ezekiel is suffering from cancer as well as being a fair distance away from Jerry. For the moment, let’s be thankful for the time they’ve shared.
