She-Hulk plot rumors tease Titania’s origins
Has She-Hulk’s plot been revealed before the show’s trailer?
Unfortunately, in this day and age of the internet, leaks from your favorite TV shows and movies are commonplace. Marvel is no stranger to such leaks. The studio behind the biggest movies in the world today, it’s always at the mercy of rumors and apparent leaks as information regarding current and future projects make their way around the internet (much like we saw with Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home).
A new project that finds itself surrounded by rumors is She-Hulk. One of the most recent is in regards to what the upcoming Disney Plus show could mean for the future of the Hulks.
Insider and Geeks Worldwide editor-in-chief KC Walsh appeared on Wesley Sykes and Nick Friar’s Change my Mind podcast recently (H/T: The Direct) and spoke about She-Hulk. It seems that even more plot details of the upcoming superhero legal-comedy show set to arrive on Disney Plus this year have been unveiled.
There have already been some rumors surrounding the show such as a potential appearance from Charlie Cox who is rumored to be reprising his role from the Netflix Daredevil series and No Way Home, as well as rumored appearances from the Wrecking Crew, Skaar and a mysterious shapeshifter codenamed A’Dood. And now this one may reveal some interesting plot points.
She-Hulk rumored plot details
This rumor revolves around She-Hulk’s Titania a.k.a. Mary MacPherran, played by Jameela Jamil, who is believed to be the villain of the series. According to Walsh, prior to the villain’s immoral ways, Titania is an “exercise guru on the internet”. But things do not work out as planned “so she goes and sees a life coach” revealed to be Marvel Cinematic Universe villain Emil Blonsky, a.k.a. the Abomination (Tim Roth).
Blonsky will at some point obtain a gamma-irradiated blood sample from Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) as a “cure” to Titania’s “life problems” which will “set up all the Hulk’s for what’s next.” This sounds like the She-Hulk series could set the stage for that long-rumored World War Hulk movie.
The sample that Blonsky stole from Jen could then open the door for other Hulk characters such as Titania, Red Hulk and “a bunch of loser dudes on a construction site”, referring to the Wrecking Crew.
As with all rumors, it’s best to take them with a grain of salt. But there are some interesting tidbits to think about there, especially the possibility that Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil might appear, this time in “his yellow digs”, as a potential callback to his earlier appearances in comics.
