Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour suggests where season 3 of the HBO Max series may take place.

Harley Quinn season 3 is not premiering in the month of February. It’s not shocking as animation takes time, but it was disappointing for fans eager for new episodes so that they can find out what was happening with Harley and Poison Ivy since they left Gotham City. Well, that’s if you weren’t reading Tee Franklin’s Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour.

If you did read that great series, however, you’ll know that Harley and Ivy left Gotham, met up with Nightwing (and admired his glory glutes) and fought with and against some of DC Comics’ villains and heroes. The two also got closer as lovers and friends.

In the end, Tee Franklin gave readers and fans of Harley Quinn a tease of what’s to come in the third season of the former DC Universe series. The comic book series ends with Harley and Ivy driving towards Central City and a caption on the bottom in the design of a road-sign that says, “Next Exit: Season 3 HBO Max!” For those who don’t know, going to Central City is a big deal as it’s the home of the fastest man alive, The Flash.

Harley Quinn’s adventures continue

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy leaving Gotham City is a major step for the show. This means that the creative team has more than Gotham-based aspirations for their characters this time around. Could this lead to Harley and Ivy going anywhere in the DC Comics universe outside of Gotham?

There’s Coastal City where Green Lantern protects or Star City with Green Arrow. What about other places like Earth-11 or the Flashpoint timeline. And let’s not forget that they’ll eventually be back in Gotham City as well. Her friends are there and it’s where she started out. Plus, she has to see Commissioner Gordon. He’s not happy about how things ended.

This move is only the beginning. Tee Franklin deserves a long standing ovation for giving fans this amazing comic book, keeping them invested in Harley and Ivy’s story and that clever preview of what could be happening next.

Next. Batman suffers a devastating betrayal and needs major DC villain’s help. dark
