One of the positive things about this show is the comfort of knowing what’s about to happen next. Sometimes predictability isn’t a bad thing. Especially with a new show. In this case, as this writer has said in previous articles, we’re going to find out more about where Naomi came from. In this case, we’re going to learn more about her adopted father.

During the family dinner with Dee, Greg McDuffie had an intense moment with their guest. It didn’t look like Greg was interrogating him for the military. It seemed more than that. Fans of the Naomi comic book know that her adopted father is an alien. Since Dee can sense powers, this could be why the two of them had their moment. The two could have fought in the time Dee was off planet. Her parents know more than they’re letting on. It will become apparent in episode 5.

Akira and Naomi interacting happened sooner than expected. Akira mentions that Zumbado ruined their Earth and that he shouldn’t be trusted. Despite Zumbado saying otherwise. Akira says that their planet was bright and full of color before Zumbado. Akira also told him that she’ll never trust him again. We’ll have to wait and see how that plays out.
