Batman: DC Comics’ Bat-Family characters ranked from worst to best
By Mark Lynch
Who are the best members of Batman’s Bat-Family?
Batman has been one of the most important characters in comic books for decades. In the pages of DC Comics, he’s the world’s greatest detective, one of the best fighters, and has a plan for almost every scenario. He also starred in one of the greatest cartoons of all time in Batman the Animated Series and has produced plenty of iconic films to his name.
It’s only fitting that a whole day would be dedicated to him and his greatness. However, for all of his accomplishments, he hasn’t done it alone.
Bruce Wayne may see himself as a lone wolf but he’s never truly been on his own. He’s had his father figure Alfred, multiple Robins over the years, and Commissioner Gordon all helping him out when he needs them. As his story and character has evolved, more people have come into his life. This has helped cast out the idea that Batman doesn’t need anyone and has made him a more emotional character.
There are a lot of people that have come into Bruce’s life. Without them, the Caped Crusader wouldn’t be the hero we’ve grown to love. Since it’s Batman Day, let’s take some time to highlight some of his greatest partners as we look at the major Bat-Family members.
We’re going to begin with someone new in Bruce’s life – someone who made his debut wanting to change the way Batman protected Gotham.
Honorable mentions: Clayface, Lucius Fox, Ace, Katana, and Lucas ‘Luke’ Fox
