5. Kate Kane (Batwoman)
Kate Kane has only been around for 15 years. In that time, she’s proven to be one of the most dependable members of the Bat-Family. Some members may talk back to Bruce, but Kate actually puts him in his place. She’s aware that he’s not right all the time and she is also aware that he’s not her boss. They’re peers. It’s one of the reasons he trusts her more than other people.
Kate is the most emotionally secure member of the Bat-Family. She’s not without her trauma, but she handles it better than almost anyone else. She has no problem talking about her issues to make her better. This has made her a better leader and teammate to the Bat-Family.

4. Barbara Gordon (Oracle/Batgirl)
Barabra Gordon could have given up after that infamous and tragic night in which she was shot, paralyzed, and assaulted by The Joker. But she refused to let that moment define her. Instead, she used her photographic memory and outstanding computer and organization skills to become Oracle. After a few months, we found out that she may be even more valuable behind a computer than she is in the field. Batgirl is great and Oracle is phenomenal.
Barbara can do things that no one else can. Tim Drake and Batman are geniuses, but they can’t hack a system and find out information like she does. She isn’t just helping one person at a time either. Oracle has Gotham PD, a team of heroes, and sometimes all of Gotham City to worry about. She does it without a bead of sweat on her forehead and makes it look good.
With a mask or without it, Barbara Gordon is one of the most valuable and irreplaceable members of the Bat-Family.
