The Batman spoilers: Do Batman and Catwoman end up together?
By Cody Schultz
The Batman leans heavily into the relationship between Batman and Catwoman, but do the characters end up together at the end of the movie?
It’s been nearly a decade since the Dark Knight took to the big screens in a standalone title — no, we’re not counting Batman vs Superman — and the Caped Crusader’s latest return is quickly winning over audiences.
Following several delays, Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated Batman adaptation has finally opened in theaters and is being praised by critics and audiences alike as one of the best Batman films to ever be released.
The film puts a unique spin on a character who has headlined a handful of hit movies over the years to tap into a Batman mythos unlike any we’ve seen brought to the big screens in the past.
At the heart of the story is Robert Pattinson’s Batman and Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman, whose characters are true highlights of the film and are being praised as two of the best portrayals ever seen from the duo with quite an iconic comic book history.
The promotional footage for the film hyped up the character’s relationship and the film definitely delivered on the hype, but did the characters end up together by the end of The Batman?Â

Do Batman and Catwoman end up together at the end of The Batman?
While it’s clear that Bruce and Selina share a unique bond, the two characters do not end up together at the end of The Batman. Instead, they go their separate ways as the movie comes to a close.
From the moment Bruce and Selina first meet, the two shared electric chemistry and their dynamic was explored beautifully within the span of the movie. While the pair formed a close bond in just a short amount of time across the film, it’s clear they’re both on very different paths.
As the movie comes to a close, Selina asks Bruce/Batman to come away with her to Bludhaven in finally leaving Gotham behind for good. Unfortunately, it’s clear that Bruce belongs in Gotham and is not ready to turn his back on Gotham and walk away from the city and its citizens.
The final scene between the two characters finds Bruce and Selina riding their motorcycles together before reaching a crossroad. As Selina rides off away from the city, Bruce watches her drive off into the distance from his motorcycle’s mirror.
