Sebastian Stan is being ghosted by Anthony Mackie (and it’s breaking our hearts)

Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie seem to be on the outs, with Mackie ghosting his Falcon and the Winter Soldier costar in recent months. 

It’s been nearly a year since Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie came together to gift fans with one of the most iconic bromances in the MCU as the leads of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. 

The duo quickly took the MCU by storm for their incredible chemistry and the internet fell in love with the pair, calling them one of the best duos within the expansive shared universe. Their chemistry carried the show both on-screen and off, with the pair’s press junkets often gifting fans with some truly incredible moments.

Are Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie friends in real life?

Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie don’t just appear to play pals in the MCU, but the duo has a real-life friendship as well. The pair first bonded while working together on Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the film’s press tour, which is when a strong friendship formed between the pair.

In the years since, the duo has publically supported one another’s wins as friends do and their chemistry is what helped to elevate The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. 

While the pair are friends in real life as well as in the MCU, it does seem likely their friendship could be on the rocks.

Are Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie feuding?

Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie aren’t at odds with one another; however, there does seem to be a rift between the pair.

During an interview with Yahoo Entertainment to promote his new Hulu thriller Fresh, Stan dropped a shocking revelation on fans when revealing that Mackie has not returned a single text for several months.

"“Anthony hasn’t returned a text of mine since November of 2021,” Stan said. “We’re taking a break.” He quickly added, “I sent him a picture of my Christmas tree and I got nothing in return, so…”"

While it seems Mackie has been ghosting Stan in recent months, Stan made it clear he is not feuding with Mackie and has nothing but love for his MCU co-star. As Stan noted, “You have to understand I love him. That’s the real problem. I love him. I actually miss him.”
