When can fans expect to find Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus?

The character of Ms. Marvel, a.k.a. Kamala Khan, will officially make her long-awaited live-action debut with a six-episode Disney Plus series later this year. Khan, portrayed by Iman Vellani, will also appear in The Marvels, which is slated for release on Feb 17, 2023, and directed by Nia DaCosta.

From the sneak peek footage that has been shown by Marvel thus far, it feels the series is more akin to the earlier Tom Holland Spider-Man films and a little lighter than upcoming Disney Plus show Moon Knight, which is rated TV-14 on the streamer.

But when can fans expect the series to premiere?

When is Ms. Marvel released?

Ms. Marvel is expected in summer 2022. That much was expected already but now fans may have some more specific information in regards to when exactly it’s coming.

The Walt Disney Company held its annual shareholders meeting this week. During the webcast, Disney CEO Bob Chapek appeared to confirm that Ms. Marvel will be the next Marvel series to release on Disney+ after Moon Knight. The show was originally announced to be coming to Disney+ last fall however it’s now believed that the series will land on Disney+ this summer. Meanwhile, fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe series She-Hulk is slated for release in the Fall of 2022.

According to an update from The Hollywood Partnership Committee (H/T: The Direct), on June 2, 2022 , Hollywood Blvd. will be shut down to accommodate the red carpet premiere of Ms. Marvel. That means the show could officially release around that time, perhaps even on June 8 if Disney is following the Wednesday release schedule.
