The Umbrella Academy season 3 is on the minds of fans of the Netflix series, but when can they expect to see new episodes of the series?

It’s been some time since we have had new episodes of The Umbrella Academy to enjoy. The uber-successful Netflix series has been one of the streaming service’s most popular offerings in recent years, with both of its seasons receiving rave reviews from critics and a positive reception from fans.

With a star-studded cast featuring Elliot Page, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Justin H. Min, Cameron Britton, Kate Walsh, and, of course, Colm Feore, the second season premiered in July 2020 and viewers have been wondering when the next installment will make its presence felt.

The third season will pick up where the second left off, detailing the new world in which we have the Sparrow Academy instead of the Umbrella Academy. A teaser released by Netflix last year confirmed that it would also take place in the Hotel Oblivion setting.

That being said, fans want to know when The Umbrella Academy season 3 will actually be released.

Does The Umbrella Academy season 3 have a release date?

The Umbrella Academy season 3 will be released on June 22, 2022.

As far as predictions go, fans were hoping that it might arrive around March 2022 because it would mark six months since production was completed (which has become something of an indicator as to when viewers can expect new seasons of their favorite Netflix shows). And with Netflix recently unveiling some new teaser character posters, fans thought that prediction could turn out to be correct. But it was not to be.

Needless to say fans are excited for a new season of The Umbrella Academy!
