This Wednesday, a new episode of The Flash season 8 airs on The CW. The Arrowverse‘s joint-longest-running series made its long-awaited comeback last week with a fun adventure that saw Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen’s energetic children save the day in the past and future. Now, it’s back with a new installment.
While the initial wave of episodes of The Flash‘s eighth season debuted in November, those were part of the show’s five-episode-event, in which the characters crossed over with characters from Batwoman, Supergirl, Black Lightning, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. With that event concluding in December, the show went off the air for the holidays.
Now that it’s back, The Flash season 8 is officially underway. The midseason premiere allowed us to catch up with Bart and Nora in the future (and the past), but now we’re officially back in the present as Barry and CCPD officers find themselves in some serious jeopardy.
When Goldface invades CCPD, Barry and Kramer must work together to overcome him. Will they be able to stop him and can the former don his suit and save the day with his speed?
