Sentinel and Guardian

While Alex Danvers’ best storylines on Supergirl came whenever she wasn’t wearing that hooded super-suit, there was a genuine feeling of awe that came over you when Sentinel and Guardian teamed up. And speaking of Guardian, Kelly Olsen’s evolution into the shield-wielding hero was one of the universally-adored things in Supergirl‘s often divisive final season.

With Alex and Kelly now wives and loving mothers to Esme, it would be great to see the pair headline their own spin-off as they attempt to juggle crime-fighting with home life (think Superman and Lois but without the super powers). No, we don’t like the idea of separating them from the rest of the Super Friends, but as they are such compelling characters on their own, a spin-off focused on just them and their family might actually allow them to thrive.

Helena Bertinelli / Huntress

One of the few characters that didn’t resurface in Arrow‘s later seasons, there is a realistic quality to Helena Bertinelli that wasn’t tainted by the show’s dive into magic, metahumans and madness as it went on. That makes her one of the best possible characters to focus on in a spin-off because, honestly, a return to realism could do the Arrowverse good.

Jessica De Gouw’s performance as the Huntress was exhilarating and she has long-remained one of the show’s most popular guest stars, with fans calling for her to return for so long. Though it ultimately didn’t happen on the show, that doesn’t mean she can’t return in her very own spinoff in the future.

Make it – or, better yet, all of them – happen, CW!
