Season 1 of Moon Knight started with a bang! Here are the things that we learned from the first episode.

The Moon Knight series premiere has come. The multiple previews and clips from the show gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from the newest Marvel Studios Disney Plus program. Even with those peeks into the show, it was nothing compared to what we saw in the first episode.

Episode 1 of a show sets a precedent. If the premiere isn’t done well, potential viewers are likely to give up on it. This wasn’t the case with Moon Knight. Everything was executed perfectly. We learned a lot about the lead character Steven Grant, some of the problems he’ll face, and who the antagonist is (more on him later). There are other things that must be mentioned in this show. Here are the five most important.

5. Moon Knight will get bloody

As this writer mentioned before, Moon Knight is going to be violent. Regardless of how far it’s going to go, it will be more nature than anything we’ve seen from a Disney Plus Marvel/Studios project. That was plain as day the first time Steven resumed control of Marc’s body. When he came back to reality after Marc defended him, his hands were a bloody mess. Then, we later see the aftermath of the people he killed in his van. This was only the first episode and Marc didn’t have control for long. No doubt it will be more violent when we see Marc driving the body.
