Where is Morbius streaming online: Is it on Disney Plus or Netflix?

Morbius has hit the big screen but when will you be able to watch it online? All the information you need to know.

Michael Morbius is about to make his live-action debut in Sony’s Morbius. Led by Jared Leto, the film is the third in the ever-growing Sony Universe of Marvel characters – a universe that centers on Spider-Man characters.

Following on from 2018’s Venom and its 2021 sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the movie hopes to build that vision Sony has for its Marvel characters, laying more foundations for the future before projects like Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter continue the overall story.

While Morbius hits theaters, though, is there any way for you, the viewer, to watch it online and how long do you need to wait for it to happen?

Is Morbius on Netflix?

Morbius may not be on Netflix as of yet as it has only just hit theaters but the good news is that it will be coming to the world’s most famous streaming service (likely later this year). The service signed “pay 1 window” streaming rights, giving them an exclusive 18-month window to stream the film (along with other films in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe).

Is Morbius on Disney Plus?

Morbius may not be on Disney Plus just yet but it is expected to appear on there in the future, as Disney signed a “pay 2 window” deal that allows them streaming rights to the movie on services such as Disney Plus and Hulu, as well as the studio’s linear networks, after the Netflix run comes to an end.

There have yet to be exact details about when that will happen.

Where can you watch Morbius online?

As Morbius is still in movie theaters, it will be a while before the film can be watched online. However, aside from the aforementioned options, you will be able to purchase it and watch on various VOD services ahead of its home media release in a few months.
