Dane Whitman

Dane Whitman didn’t turn into the Black Knight during the end credit scene in Eternals. We do know that he will eventually take up the mantle. He had the Ebony Blade and almost grabbed it. If not for Blade stepping in, we may have actually seen him hold it.

It would be shocking if he was Black Knight in this series. However, Dane Whitman wouldn’t be. He works at the Natural History Museum just like Steven Grant. Why wouldn’t they have crossed paths? Also, Whitman may have been the only person who treated Steven with respect. They could even be friends.

Werewolf By Night

Moon Knight’s first comic book appearance happened in Werewolf By Night No. 32. There was a wolf-esque character in the first episode that Moon Knight beat into submission. It wasn’t the real thing, but it was a nice homage to Moony’s first appearance in Marvel Comics.

Jack Russell (yes, that’s Werewolf By Night’s name) is said to have a project happening for Marvel Studios. With his connection to Moon Knight, having him show up makes sense. Especially if the Werewolf by Night Halloween Special is happening later this year. Now there’s a Marvel Comics connection and fans get to see him before he debuts in a trailer.
