Batwoman

Year: 2019 – present

Seasons: 3

The last in the original wave of Arrowverse spin-offs, Batwoman was initially a very different show to the one it ended up becoming, but that evolution has ultimately seen in thrive.

The show faced a lot of adversity early on its run. From that misfire of a debut trailer to losing their lead one season in, the odds were stacked against it. But the show persevered, weathered those storms and came out all the better for it. Its third season was, by far, its best and Javicia Leslie is just wonderful in the title role. Here’s hoping for more!

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

Year: 2016 – present

Seasons: 7

Another show that has surprised people throughout its run, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow started off as little more than a vehicle for some of the Arrowverse’s most beloved supporting characters. However, its time-travel-centric plot and eclectic line-up of heroes, villains and everything in between resulted in a series that stopped taking itself too seriously and just threw everything at the wall to see what sticks.

Seven seasons later and Legends continues to defy people’s expectations, producing some of the most outlandish – and hilarious – episodes you’ll see on television. It knows what it is and has a great time being it, while heroes like White Canary deliver a host of memorable moments throughout.
