Moon Knight episode 3 made viewers aware of these five things. Each of them are crucial to the rest of the series.

The third episode of Moon Knight was the most revealing yet. Viewers learned a lot about the main characters in less than an hour. For example, Layla El-Faouly’s father got her into retrieving artifacts and her mother made fake passports for them.

The best part is there were no wasted moments. Everything was important from the very first scene to the last word uttered. It was a masterful job by the creative team. Coming up, we have the five biggest takeaways from episode 3 of Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight on Disney Plus.

5. Khonshu actually cares

At the end of the episode, Khonshu gave up his freedom to stop Ammit. If you’d asked this writer a month ago if this would happen, he’d say no, especially considering the kind of deity he is in Marvel Comics. Yet, here we are.

Khonshu knew that recreating the night sky to help Steven and Layla would bring unwanted attention and get him trapped in stone. He did it anyway. A sacrifice no one saw coming. Now we’ll have to wait and see how Marc reacts to not having his powers.
