2. The Midnight Man may be coming

Moon Knight doesn’t have a lot of villains that would make for a good antagonist in a show. However, there are a couple that would. One of them is Anton Mogart, the Midnight Man.

The character debuted in this episode, but we didn’t see him in costume. We did, however, meet Anton Mogart. He’s the man behind the mask.

Mogart rides away in a cloud of dust after he’s hit with Moon Knight’s projectile. We never see Mogart die or even fall off his horse. Could he resurface before the season is over?

1. Council of Egyptian Gods

Every set of gods has a pantheon. We’ve seen the Asgardians in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we’ll probably see the Greek gods within the next five years. Moon Knight introduced the Egyptian Pantheon of Gods and we learn all we need to in one scene. First, we discover that they have a place to meet. Second, they’re not as together as they think. Lastly, they hate Khonshu.

At some point, we should learn the real reason behind Khonshu’s expulsion. Khonshu’s need to protect humans couldn’t have been the only reason. Maybe he did something to anger them. Or, maybe the gods could just be petty.

Moon Knight streams new episodes of its first season on Disney Plus on Wednesdays.
