What are the differences between The Boys comics and Amazon Prime show?

Whenever a comic book is adapted into a show, there are going to be some things that aren’t like the source material. Amazon Prime’s The Boys is no different. There is a lot of contrast between the two.

Grace Mallory is Greg and has powers in the comics. Love Sausage was an important character in The Boys comic series, but in the show, he’s reduced to a joke.

These are only a couple of notable changes. Some of them are good while others are awful and ruin what the character stood for. Here are 14 characters from the comic book series and how they differ from their Amazon Prime counterparts.

Homelander The Boys comics differences

Actor: Antony Starr

Homelander is an interesting character in both mediums. His changes didn’t hurt him. In fact, they helped. So far, he isn’t as depraved as he is in the comics. However, you can see his slow descent into madness. Especially in the first trailer for season 3.

At some point in the show, we’re going to see him become the person he was in the comics. When we do, it’ll be unlike anything viewers have seen in a comic book project. Some of the acts are too atrocious to be seen on TV. Nevertheless, if Homelander is seen doing half the stuff he did in the comics, it’ll make viewers nauseous.
