A-Train The Boys comics differences

Actor: Jessie T. Usher

It looks like the creative team took the storyline with A-Train in the comics and gave it to The Deep. Instead of A-Train the creep, he’s a Black superhero dealing with some of the things that come with being a celebrity.

First, there are a lot of people latching on to him. They don’t care about him. They only want his money. The biggest for A-Train was learning that fame doesn’t stop racism. Everyone from his peers to the common person treated him like trash. You’d think that he would learn from his experiences, but looking at the season 3 teaser, he hasn’t.

Stormfront The Boys comics differences

Actor: Aya Cash

In the comics, Stormfront was only a major character for a little while in The Boys: The Self-Preservation Society. This is where Payback (who we’ll see in season 3) went after The Boys. Most of them were easily taken down by Butcher. It M.M., Butcher, and Love Sausage to kill Stormfront.

Stormfront is another character that’s better on the Amazon Prime show. Besides the change in sex, Stormfront was completely different. First, and more importantly, Stormfront was interesting. She knew how to play the media to make her look good. Meanwhile, she was building an army of racists. Stormfront in the comics wasn’t this charismatic or interesting. He was just a racist that readers were happy to see defeated.
