Frenchie The Boys comics differences

Actor: Tomer Capone

The comic book version of Frenchie was quick to act and more violent than anyone. It’s funny to learn that the loss of a loved one is what sent him over the edge. He’s Butcher’s most loyal teammate and is more than willing to kill at the drop of a hat.

Frenchie is strategic on the show. When he was arrested, we learn that he created devices that can take down people with powers. Frenchie in the comics can barely use a remote control. He’s definitely smarter than he lets on, but nothing like the Amazon Prime version.

Kimiko Miyashiro The Boys comics differences

Actor: Karen Fukuhara

First, Kimiko Miyashiro has a name. In the comic, she is simply, The Female. Like the comic, she and Frenchie have a relationship. It’s like a father and daughter. All the way to Frenchie chastising her when she does something she shouldn’t. On the show, it’s more of a friendship. They look after each other. The comic book was more of Frenchie looking after her.

Kimiko communicates better as well. She and her brother created a sign language that only they know about. She’s also allowed herself to have emotions. Kimiko has shown that she can acknowledge when she’s sad, hurt, and even danced a bit when she was happy. In the comics, it seemed like she hated any feelings other than anger.
