Thor: Love and Thunder arrives in theaters this summer, but when exactly can Marvel fans in the UK expect it to make its presence felt on the big screen?

Thor: Love and Thunder will be the latest film to feature Chris Hemsworth’s axe-wielding God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The fourth film to be headlined by the star (and the ninth overall appearance from his character), it seeks to tell a new story for the MCU heavyweight as he attempts to find himself in a post-Blip universe.

After much anticipation, the first teaser trailer made its presence felt less than three months before the film’s release, and it revealed that Thor’s self-searching will lead him to a life without heroics – one that might lead to a run in with Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor.

Speaking of the film’s release, when can fans in the United Kingdom expect Love and Thunder?

When does Thor: Love and Thunder come out in the UK?

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in the UK on Friday, July 8, 2022. That is no doubt good news for fans in the UK, as that is the same as the film’s US release date, meaning that they are less likely to come across any spoilers if they plan on seeing the film on its opening weekend.

A slightly earlier release is not completely out of the question either. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to hit UK screens a day before it makes its presence felt in the US, while it also comes out a day earlier than that in other locations.

For now, though, the Thor 4 release dates line up – and that is most definitely a good thing.
