Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been patiently waiting for the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer to debut. There was speculation about when it would come out. The 2022 Super Bowl seemed like the likely place for it to drop. That wasn’t the case.
Bam Smack Pow writer Scott Brown said that it would come out two weeks before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Looks like he was right on the money.
After years of waiting, the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer was released. Like most Marvel Studios trailers, this didn’t disappoint. There was so much to talk about. For example, Thor’s costumes. The beginning of the trailer showed old-school Odinson’s costume, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his newest look. The latest looks close to his current Marvel Comics uniform. That was only one of the noteworthy moments. Here are five that everyone should have seen.

5. King of Asgard
Towards the end of Avengers: Endgame Thor makes Valkyrie the King of New Asgard. He says the Asgardians need a new leader and she’s it. The new trailer shows Tessa Thompson in that role and she looks like a true boss.
She was in front and in charge in New Asgard during a meeting wearing a suit. This is what fans of Valkyrie wanted to see. This shows that she wasn’t just put there. She deserved it and it’s what Asgard needed.
