2. Gorr kills gods

Marvel has teased Gorr the God Butcher. Some of the merchandise shows Christian Bale with his new look. Unfortunately, we still haven’t seen him. Not even in the trailer. While that’s disappointing, we did see some of his handiwork in the teaser.

In the Jason Aaron run of Thor: God of Thunder, there was a giant dead god named Falligar the Behemoth. It was one of the first gods that the Odinson saw that Gorr killed years after their first encounter. We saw a scene just like that in the teaser. That, on top of Thor’s new look shows a heavy influence from Jason Aaron’s comic book run.

1. Love and Thunder and Natalie Portman

Last, and certainly not least, fans finally got to see what Jane Foster looks like as Thor. We’ve seen the clips of Natalie Portman bulking up, but those were just samples. Portman looks fantastic. She helped bring Jane Foster’s God of Thunder to life.

Seeing her summon Mjolnir was breathtaking. This writer rewound the scene a couple of times. He couldn’t believe how good she looked. The helmet, costume, and even the look on Thor’s face when she appeared was everything that fans could have wanted. It was a flawless introduction. The next time we see her will be better than the first.
