Just when we were starting to think that Marvel would never release a Thor: Love and Thunder trailer, the studio that continues to smash box-office records stunned fans across the globe with an action-packed teaser the Monday after Easter!

In the first official teaser for the upcoming film, fans are treated to their first look at Thor’s return to the MCU in an 80s-inspired trailer that was well worth the extended wait!

The all too brief teaser takes fans on quite a ride leaving us with lot to unpack once we’ve been able to reel ourselves in after the exciting spot! Even after watching the teaser several times on repeat, you’ll still find new hidden moments you missed during previous watches because there is just that much going on in the brief teaser.

There is a lot to unpack from the trailer, including the trailer’s featured song which is a real earworm and likely has viewers heading to Shazam in hopes of identifying the track.

Thor: Love and Thunder trailer song

Can’t quite place the song heard within the Thor: Love and Thunder official teaser? The song you hear playing across the first teaser for Marvel’s upcoming fourth Thor film is “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses.

It’s honestly the perfect song selection to play across the action-packed trailer which provides fans with several first looks both at Thor’s post-Endgame transformation, the return of some familiar faces and the introduction of some of the MCU’s newest characters.

Considering the 80s vibes Thor: Love and Thunder continues to give off, we can’t think of a better song to set the first official teaser to than the iconic Guns N’ Roses hit. The song seems to hint that we could be in store for an epic 80s-inspired soundtrack featuring tunes from some of the decade’s biggest artists — and we’re honestly so ready to start streaming the movie’s soundtrack if that’s the case!
