Moon Knight episode 4 made viewers aware of these five things. Each of them are crucial to the rest of the series.

Episode 4 of Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight wasn’t what this writer expected. It didn’t have any of the pizazz that the other three episodes of the Disney Plus series had. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. It was just different.

There was a lot of information to take in on Marc Spector and Layla El-Faouly’s past, especially with Layla’s father. Marc was there when he died and it turns out that he was killed by someone who got greedy (like in the comics).

The biggest moment, however, may have come when we saw what happened to Marc when he came across Arthur Harrow in the tomb of Alexander the Great (which we’ll get into later). There were other moments that need to be mentioned. Here are the best five.

5. Khonshu isn’t the first god to be imprisoned

Moon Knight starts with Horus’ Avatar putting Khonshu’s stone statue in a chamber. What we soon see is that Khonshu isn’t the first god to be imprisoned in stone. There were tons of others in stone who were placed there over the years as well. What seemed like a common thing now seems weird.

There was a reason why this was immediately shown. Horus’ avatar seemed shady from the beginning. Him holding the gods like this seems like he’s protecting himself and his mission from those who could stop him. It doesn’t help that he’s working with Arthur Harrow.
