Marvel’s Moon Knight may have finally introduced the main character’s third personality, Jake Lockley, in the fourth episode.

Ever since Moon Knight debuted on screens, Marvel fans have been wondering if we would see the mysterious Jake Lockley in the Disney Plus series.

For fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe show that aren’t familiar with the character, he’s who many fans believe will be the third personality of Moon Knight. In the comics, he was one of Marc Spector’s disguises (along with Steven Grant) before the character’s Dissociative Identity Disorder resulted in each of them becoming separate personalities.

While Disney Plus’ Moon Knight has only officially introduced us to two personalities, with Marc Spector being the dominant one but Steven Grant being the show’s primary one in terms of allowing us to learn about Marc, Khonshu and their lives through his perspective, it seems that it’s hinting at a dormant third personality.

Fans believe that third personality is Jake Lockley, and the most recent episode contained a rather symbolic nod to that theory.

Is Jake Lockley in Moon Knight on Disney Plus?

The fourth episode of Moon Knight, titled “The Tomb”, saw Marc shot by Arthur Harrow only to wake up in psychiatric hospital. However, after breaking loose from his restraints he came across an Egyptian Sarcophagus and opened it to find Steven Grant.

The two personalities, now in separate but identical bodies, made their way through the facility. However, Marc notice a second Egyptian Sarcophagus in another room. There was someone, or something, on the inside, banging in an attempt to get out, and it left Marc a little unnerved before he ran on.

This could very well be an allusion to Jake Lockley, as it comes after a number of references to a potential third personality already. In the previous episode, Marc and Steven bickered over the former’s apparent killing of some of Harrow’s men, but Marc remained steadfast in his belief that he did not kill them – and we already know Steven would never do something like that! With that in mind, it’s believed that this third, more aggressive, personality is indeed Jake.

With Steven and Marc now in separate bodies in this apparent dreamscape, it would only make sense for that potential third personality to have been separated into their own body too. With that in mind, could we see Jake Lockley surface in the final two episodes of Moon Knight‘s first season?
